ALL HAIL BLACK METAL HISTORY MONTH

I have a dream that my grandchildren will live in a hipster free world.
I have a dream that all the members of Liturgy, Horseback and all indie rock acts who call themselves Black Metal will be thrown in ovens.
I have a dream that all mainstream media types who write about Black Metal will suddenly die afterwards.
I have a dream that all collaborators with the mainstream media who are trying to water down our purity will suffer and die from a sexually transmitted disease which they got at the Pitchfork office.

Scumfeast Metal 666 concerns itself with Extreme Metal & Sounds. Starting in 2012 I'll only be accepting review material that falls within the following genres: Black Metal, Death Metal, Doom, Thrash, Grindcore, real Hardcore/Crust/Speed Metal, classic NWOBHM, Classic Metal. Pagan/Folk Metal, Punk Metal and certain Dark Sounds. I cannot promote what I like when I'm being flooded with stuff I don't really care for.

Secondly I'm not gonna write a review from listening to your Reverbnation page. Atleast with Bandcamp I can have the music running on continuous play while I walk around the house doing mundane chores if you know what I mean. So if you want me to pay attention than please send a download link of your release which I can listen to at my leisure . I don't share files or leak stuff so your art is safe with me.

IT'S ALL ABOUT THE "EXTREME"

Extreme Metal or Music is generally a form which is accepted by 1% of all of the music loving public. It is elitist in every way and that's important to those of us who call ourselves fans. The 99% of people who will not like it are Not Supposed To. The music wasn't made for them, "the masses". It's music that's for those who take things to that "other" level. There is nothing hip or fad about it. In fact we treat those two notions very harshly.

Scumfeast Metal 666 concerns itself with the Extreme side of the following genres: Black Metal, Death Metal, Doom, Thrash, Grindcore, real Hardcore/Crust, classic NWOBHM, Folk/Pagan/Viking Metal, Drone/Noise and various Dark Sounds. Do not consider the opinions read here to be the same as you would read on other music sites. Being objectionable is not our mission. Giving you an honest no holds bar extreme opinion is.
