SCUMFEAST METAL 666 FORTY FAVORITE RELEASES OF 2011

If you don't like this list I'll waste this pussy.

SCUMFEAST METAL 666 FORTY FAVORITE RELEASES OF 2011
And now it's hell to pay time with the Scumfeast Metal 666 favorites list of 2011. In other words it's time to separate the wheat from the chafe. I think I read that line in a book once but anyway before anyone starts crying "where's my favorite CD?" I want you (or at least some of you) to remember something important in that You Tube video duration mind of yours. This is Scumfeast Metal 666 got it? This ain't Hipster Retard Digest or Blabberfart or even Metal for Brown Nosers. This list did not come by adherence to advertising dollars, friend favoritism or self righteous wannabe bohemianism. This is a list painstakingly compiled by yours truly Mr. Wolf the Usurper of Eternal Condemnation and Inverted Crucifixion, Tyrant Spear Carrier of the Barbaric Blood Sacrifice and pillar of the community. Whenever you look at these end of year lists you have to take into account the person's tastes behind it. Therefore whenever I say Scumfeast Metal 666 is all about Extreme Metal or Extreme Sounds I truly mean it. You're not gonna find any out of extreme releases listed here like that Icelandic indie rock whore or some wannabe country post grad losers or phonies. Secondly I reviewed close to four hundred releases this year and that's not a typo read it again four hundred fuckin releases. Frankly I think that's too many and I'll probably be more discriminatory towards more releases coming in next year. But the bottom line is that I still missed out on plenty of releases out there. Look if it doesn't get sent in or I don't go out and buy it then I can't review it. I mean I was told that the new SAXON was good and I heard mixed reviews of the new ANTHRAX CD but hey I didn't get em. Third, I did do some discriminating this year by turning down some stuff for review. Most of which just didn't fit in with what I want this website to be into. Other releases were turned down because I knew I'd hate em so why spend time doing the slag. Finally don't take the number sequences too seriously because all of these releases are exceptionally great and at one time or another held the number one spot for me in 2011. Also following this top 40 list are a list of best of's as well as Compilations and Re-Issues to talk about plus every one's favorite The Hipster Faves of the Year.
So there you go and here's the list, like it or hate it but respect it because at least I'm honest to my own tastes and not someone elses.

MR. WOLF'S HIPSTER LOSER FAVES

LITURGY - Aesthetica CD (Thrill Jockey Records)
Genre: Hipster Stool
Rating: 0/5
Here's a quote that I found on another website, "the only way the [black metal] genre will survive with any credibility is via albums like Aesthethica." Not only is that scribe a self righteous jackass he's full of crap as well as I'm guessing something else while he was down on his knees. Be that as it may the thing that hipsters don't get is authenticity. They think adding one percent of black metal to an indie rock band makes them black metal or in this band's case, experimental black metal. It doesn't in fact it's like calling those performers on American Idol original artists. Not only are LITURGY phonies but this release really sucks. Now when it was released it got the same critical acclaim from the hipster websites as their 2009 release, Renihilation, did. That release sucked as well. Now because of all the laughter generated by people who really like real metal at hipsters retard scribes for setting this release up as greatness, the hipster websites had to dial back their schmoozness over it. They're trying to save their own creditability by downplaying their original love for this stool. Sorry but hipsters and their phony websites have no creditability when it comes to extreme music. To borrow a quote I used in one of my own reviews, "hipsters need to be removed from music criticism altogether so they can go back to writing blurbs about theme dining, fruity beers, homo-erotic art and Twilight sequels."

DARK CASTLE - Surrender to All Life Beyond Form CD
Profound Lore
Genre: Pretentious Noise
Rating: 0/5
This one just pissed me the fuck off because their Spirited Migration CD from 2009 not only ended up on a lot of people's end of the year best of lists but mine as well. Now they return with this noisy pretentious turd. What a fuckin joke. Thankfully even those websites and magazines that praise everything from Profound Lore Records, as if they were the master in some sadomastic S&M affair, left this one by the curb for the dog to dump on. And it was probably one of those little faggoty dogs that hipsters love. The kind that are small who shake and piss all the time.

GRAYCEON - All We Destroy CD
Profound Lore Records
Genre: Lilith Fair Garbage
Rating: 0/5
Political correctness has no room in extreme music nor does any producer who thinks, "hey you know I believe what this song really needs is some cello." Anyone who gave this release an ounce of praise should be punched in the face. I have nothing against cello it's just that as a lead instrument in a pseudo metal act it's pathetic. GRAYCEON is average sludge metal with a gimmick and in need of a punch in the face.

WOLVES IN THE THRONE ROOM - Celestial Lineage CD
Southern Lord
Genre: Indie Rock/Post Something or Other
Rating: 1/5

Well according to the news we won't have WITTR around to punch anymore since this is supposed to be their last metal album. Are you sure about that guys cause your last one, which hipster retards hated because it was too black metal, was actually metal were as this is indie rock. Well just get up in them woods why dontcha and we'll know when you're ready for your next release when we hear the banjo playing and the squealing.
